Microsoft have announced that in January 2022 they will be consolidating Microsoft 365 Business Voice and Teams Calling Essentials into a new product called Teams Phone with Calling Plan.
It will be available to purchase on the 1st January 2022 and on the 28th February 2022, Business Voice will be phased out.
Existing Business Voice customers will be able to continue using it until their subscription expires when they will be required to purchase Teams Phone with Calling Plan bundle.
The new product is similar to Business Voice which combinces a phone system and domestic calling plan. There is also the ability to purchase add-on's such as an international calling plan if required.
The new Teams Phone with Calling Plan will be available in 30 new markets, alongside the US, Canada and the UK where Business Voice is currently available.
